They have set it up so that 10% can veto anything and they keep the late night discussions going so freakin' long that 3 hours later (for a simple anti-war / bring our troops home demand'), 70-80% of the crowd has left, such that by then a dozen people are enough to block the motion for absurd procedural reasons.I tried to get involved in the canvassing, to help convince more people to revolt, and they basically censored what I could say: my own reasons for revolt (systematic child molestation, involving even GHW Bush, as evidenced by the banned movie Conspiracy of Silence ) were not acceptable to them: I was only allowed to talk about milquetoast leftist reasons.Can you imagine? A supposedly hard-core protest movement that helps the government censor explosive information. To add insult to injury, I'm told that I need to get the grossly dysfunctional General Assembly to validate my canvassing script, even though others don't need to If that BS assembly can't vote to demand an end to the wars, then they surely can't vote on something more complex like my canvassing script and its related banned movie.Well, I'm not giving up the fight, regardless: I still support OWS and its related sites, just like I support what's left of the legitimate Tea Party movement, but I'll spend my energies fighting this vile system of ours in other projects, since these ones have clearly been set up to fail miserably. I hope that outsiders will treat them with a bit of sympathy and pity: it's not easy dealing with the well coordinated actions of professional counter-insurgents
